Lap Time Tiers

LMU Lap Time Tiers

What counts as a good lap in Le Mans Ultimate, per class and circuit. Every band is a slice of the real driver field rather than a fixed gap to the fastest lap, so a tier means the same thing at Monza and at Le Mans.

The six bands

Fixed shares of the field. The lap each band cuts off is computed per class, track and setup mode, so it moves from circuit to circuit while the share stays put.

Tier Share of field Means
Alien 0.5% Top half percent of everyone who has raced the combination.
Gold 9.5% Quick enough to be in the front of a full grid.
Silver 20% Faster than 7 out of 10 drivers.
Bronze 20% The middle of the field.
Rookie 25% Learning the circuit or the car.
Offline 25% The slowest quarter of recorded laps.
