What This Is

LMU BoP Tourism is your go-to hub for Le Mans Ultimate stats, lap times, and setup-shop comparisons. We are an independent analysis project - private analysts, not just a scraper - who collect community lap time data, clean and normalise it, and turn it into insight you can actually act on.

The raw lap times are only the starting point. On top of them we build Balance of Performance (BoP) comparisons, car-strength rankings, race-pace and consistency views, and patch-over-patch trends - so you can see not just who is fastest on paper, but how the field really behaves under the live BoP settings.

What We Do With The Data

Anyone can read a lap time. Our job is to make sense of it. We aggregate times across multiple sources and keep only the fastest verified lap per combination so comparisons stay fair.

From there we add the analysis layer: relative pace between cars, how each car performs track by track, where the current BoP favours or punishes a chassis, and how all of this shifts with every game patch. The goal is to give you context, not just a leaderboard.

How This Helps You Decide

Most lap time sites answer one question: which setup is fastest. We care about a bigger one - which car is right for you. A car that posts a blistering qualifying lap is not always the car that wins races, suits your driving style, or stays consistent over a stint.

By combining outright pace with race-pace, consistency, and BoP context, we help you make better choices on two fronts: picking the right setup for a given car and track, and picking the right car to commit your time to in the first place.

Data Sources

Lap times are aggregated from community setup shops: GoSetups, BeAlien, and Hymo. Times are collected on a regular schedule and stored per car, track, and game version. Only the fastest recorded lap per combination is kept.

This site does not sell or distribute setups - it only reads, analyses, and displays publicly available lap time data.

Who We Are

This site is built and maintained independently by Giacomo Chiappe - a car enthusiast and statistics fan who has been in sim racing since 2018, working with Team Ballas Esport, Vincenzo Sospiri Racing, and Gladius Competitions in roles from race engineer and data analyst to team manager. It is not affiliated with Studio 397, Le Mans Ultimate, or any official racing organisation - it exists as a community resource for LMU players who want more than a raw leaderboard, a clearer read on the current BoP landscape and the cars within it.

That background - reading telemetry, balancing cars, and running teams - is what shapes how the lap time data here is cleaned, weighted, and turned into the BoP and car-strength analysis you see on the site.
