1. About These Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of LMU BoP Tourism (bop-tourism.com), an independent website that aggregates lap time data for Le Mans Ultimate and presents Balance of Performance (BoP), car strength, race pace, and race statistics analysis. By accessing the site or its data, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. The Dataset

The "Dataset" means the lap times, BoP change history, reconstructed car masses, car strength scores, race pace baselines, pick/win/podium statistics, and all other derived figures, tables, and analysis presented on this site. While the underlying raw facts originate from publicly available sources (setup-shop pages and official Le Mans Ultimate race sessions), the Dataset as compiled, normalised, resolved to canonical car and track identities, and analysed here represents our own editorial and engineering effort.

3. Permitted Use

You may, free of charge and without prior permission:

  • View, read, and browse all public pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.
  • Cite and quote individual figures, rankings, or findings - including in articles, videos, forum posts, and AI-assistant answers - provided you attribute the source to bop-tourism.com and, where the medium allows, link back to the relevant page.
  • Summarise or describe our analysis in your own words with attribution.

Page-level access for reading and citation is intentionally open. Automated assistants and crawlers that fetch individual pages to answer user questions are welcome (see /llms.txt).

4. Prohibited Use

Except with our prior written permission, you may not:

  • Commercial re-use: use the Dataset, in whole or in substantial part, in any product, service, or activity that is primarily intended for or directed toward commercial advantage or monetary compensation.
  • Redistribution: republish, syndicate, sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute the Dataset or any substantial part of it as a dataset, feed, API, or database, whether modified or not.
  • Bulk extraction: systematically scrape, crawl, harvest, mirror, or otherwise extract the Dataset at scale, including any automated access that bypasses the intended page-by-page browsing experience or that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
  • Competing compilations: use the Dataset to build, train, populate, or maintain a competing aggregation, comparison, or database product covering Le Mans Ultimate lap times or BoP data.
  • Remove, obscure, or misrepresent attribution, or present the Dataset in a way that implies endorsement by or affiliation with us.

5. Data License

The Dataset is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, subject to the additional restrictions in Section 4. A machine-readable expression of these terms is published at /license.xml. Where these Terms and the CC BY-NC 4.0 license differ, these Terms govern the use of the compiled Dataset.

6. Attribution

Any permitted use that reproduces our figures or analysis must credit LMU BoP Tourism (bop-tourism.com) as the source. For online use, the credit should link to the page the data was taken from or to the site home page.

7. No Warranty

The Dataset is provided "as is" for informational purposes only. Lap times, BoP figures, and statistics are aggregated from third-party and in-game sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. We make no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose, and accept no liability for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the Dataset.

8. No Affiliation

LMU BoP Tourism is operated independently and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Studio 397, Motorsport Games, Le Mans Ultimate, the ACO, or any setup-shop vendor. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

9. Enforcement

We may, at our discretion, rate-limit, challenge, or block access that violates these Terms, and may pursue any remedy available under applicable law for misuse or unauthorised redistribution of the Dataset.

10. Changes & Contact
